Born into Music and crafting sounds ever since...

“I was born and raised in the Rogers Park neighborhood in Chicago. My father Sy had a hardware store across the alley from Pepper’s, the famous blues club on Chicago’s South Side and I spent many, many weekends there listening to blues when I was a kid. I remember playing with Jimmy Reed who was an old friend of my Dad’s.” And so it began.

Bobby began his professional career as a guitarist and vocalist at the age of 16 with Chicago’s For Days & A Night and hasn’t stopped since. He joined club and college favorites like the Corky Siegel Band, Redwood Landing, and the Dick Eastman Band.

Nationally, he led a band for the New Orleans legend Dr. John and had the opportunity to back up or open for Herbie Hancock, Paul Simon, The Beach Boys, Chuck Berry, Arturo Sandoval, Diane Schuur, Jerry Lee Lewis and countless Rock and Roll Hall Of Famers.
